Jill,

Very interesting sorry that I haven't got back to this in a long time.

Would really love to see what pictures that you have and see if any are my engine.

Sorry, hadn't forgotten, just got sidetracked by other things. Main problem is locating the photo album which I think should contain something of interest.

Hello, that is amazing to hear that, I didnt think I would hear anything back let alone something like that.
I bouth the roller back in 2008 from a man called Mr Lillywhite.
You dont happen to have any pictures of the roller, and maybe your portable engine, would be interested to see.

Hello, he was my Father, and I lived at Barklye Cottage when I was a child. I remember the steam roller, also a portable steam engine ( threshing?) that he used to have. He sold the roller to you when they decided to move - up to Scotland, eventually.
Is there anything in particular that you wanted to know? I chanced upon this website whilst doing some family tree research!
Best wishes
Jill Gladstone (nee Eady)

I was trying to find out some information about T.W.G. Eady. Barklye Cottage, Broad Oak.
From information that I have it would have been in 1959, which is that date in the records I have that he obtained the steam roller that I now own.
Any information that anyone has would be most greatful.
